    On arrival at the Bandaranaike International airport, you will be warmly greeted by your very own chauffeur guide and transferred to Habarana (Approx. 4 hrs & 15 mins drive).

    En route you will visit Temple of Tooth in Kandy. Located in Kandy, long a center of the Buddhist faith, the stunning 17th-century Temple of the Tooth is believed to house the left upper canine tooth of the Lord Buddha himself. This precious relic attracts white-clad pilgrims, bearing lotus blossoms and frangipani, every day.

    Spend the afternoon visiting the spectacular Sigiriya rock fortress with its rocky abode & water gardens.  Sigiriya is famous for its toadstool of golden-hued granite, protruding into the searing blue sky from a hot, flat wilderness of scrubland, which is transformed in the rainy season to a water garden. In the 5th century King Kashyapa domesticated the Lions Rock, by building a palace atop its summit. Sigiriya commemorates some of the turbulence of Sri Lanka’s history.

    Spices are an essential element of the cuisine of Sri Lanka and the Ayurvedic tradition and a visit to a garden specializes in the cultivation of these substances and an excellent way for purposes of new uses of certain ingredients that perhaps though they knew well. Find cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, vanilla, cardamom and black pepper, to name a few. you can buy the products in their natural state or in the form of oils and potions that are used by Ayurvedic medicine, during the Dutch, very famous spices of Sri Lanka and we export to different countries. That has earned the country the name of “Island of the spices”.

    Spend overnight at Heritance Ayurveda Maha Gedara. Accommodation is in Standard rooms with ensuite facilities. Your stay is on Half board basis.


    The Resort is homely and friendly, and is exclusive for Ayurveda guests. The total atmosphere at the resort is created to be conducive for Ayurveda way of living. Yoga and Meditation classes are conducted frequently to augment the Ayurveda way of living of complete body & mind.

    Ayubowan Rejuvenation program( 7 Day treatment programme)

    A Panchakarma based program with detoxification and regeneration of the body. It includes Herbal medicines to increase body energy and Immunity while Pinda Sweda (Milk Rice and Herbs Pack) to improve flexibility and stamina.

    The Programme

    On Arrival – Doctors consultation

    A resident Ayurveda Doctor will examine the guest on arrival and a welcome treatment in the form of an Ayurveda Therapy to relax the feet will be given. This is called “Pada Avagahanaya”or Foot in Oil Bath and “Pada Abyanga” or Foot Massage.After a comprehensive medical examination the Chief Doctor/Senior Doctor will determine the body type and the Doshasand will prescribe an individual Ayurveda medical treatment planto suit the needs of the guest.

    • The selection and the frequency of treatment will be as prescribedby the Chief Doctor.
    • This treatment plan will be administered daily by an experienced team of well trained, friendly Therapists under
    • the direct supervision of qualified resident Ayurveda doctors.

    The General Daily Programme

    7.00 am– 08.00 am – Yoga (Daily)
    7.30 am – 9.00 am – Breakfast,Dispensing of Morning Medicine
    8.00 am – 12.30 pm – Administration of treatments/therapies as per individual treatment plans. An average of 4, treatments are administered daily.
    12.30 pm – 2.00 pm –  Lunch
    2 pm – 5.00 pm – Administration of treatments/therapies as per individual treatment plans. Administration of  special treatments as recommended by the Chief Doctor
    5 pm – 6.00 pm – Yoga ( 4 times weekly ), Ayurveda Cooking demonstration ( once a week ), Meditation ( twice a week )
    6.30 pm – 8.30 pm – Dinner, Dispensing of Evening Medicine
    8.30 pm – 9.30 pm –  Introduction to Ayurveda – A lecture by a doctor, Herbs & Spices – A lecture by a doctor( Twice a week ), Evening Entertainment ( 4 times a week ), Cultural Show, Oriental music, Flute music, Violin Music

    Departure – Prior to departure the Chief Doctor will examine the guest and determine Doshas and advice the guests the waysand means of leading a healthy life.

    Meals – three times a day plus nonalcoholic beverages

    Today after breakfast you will be transferred for Colombo city tour. Independence Memorial Hall is a national monument in Sri Lanka built for commemoration of  the independence of Sri Lanka from the British rule with the establishment of Dominion of Ceylon on February 4, 1948. It is located at the Independence Square in the Cinnamon Gardens, Colombo. It also houses the Independence Memorial Museum. GANGARAMA SEEMA MALAKAYA that was once a swamp adjoining the famous Beira Lake is now a landmark in the capital city. It has expanded into a vibrant complex comprising the Gangaramaya Temple, the ‘Seemamalakaya’ – an assembly hall for buddhist monks – and a vocational training institute in the picturesque Beira Lake. On compleation of Colombo shopping tour you will be transferred to airport (Approx. 01 hour drive) for your flight back home
